Kwame Ratty was born and raised in Koforidua, Eastern Region. His educational journey began at St. John Bosco RC Primary School before moving to Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) in the Ashanti Region. He later continued his studies at St. Stephen Presbyterian Senior High School in Asiakwa and then at Kwabeng Anglican Senior High School.
